Purchase & AI Credit Terms

1. About these terms

These terms cover the plans and AI credits you buy for SpeakAnyWay, whether you buy them on the web, on iPhone or iPad, or on Android. They sit alongside the Terms of Use (EULA) and our Privacy Policy.

When you buy through the App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google handles the payment, and their terms apply to it as well. Web purchases are handled by our payment processor, Stripe.

2. Plans and subscriptions

• Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel. The price is shown before you buy.
• You can cancel anytime. Cancel where you bought the plan: in your Apple account's Subscriptions settings, in Google Play's Payments & subscriptions, or for a web plan from Your plan & credits in SpeakAnyWay. Canceling stops the next renewal. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, and then your account moves to the Free plan.
• Moving to a smaller plan never deletes your work. Boards and communicators over the new plan's limits stay in your account. Some become read-only until you upgrade again or make room.
• Free trials run for the length shown when you start them. If a trial ends without a paid plan, your account moves to the Free plan.
• 5-Year licenses are a one-time payment that covers five years of the plan. They don't renew automatically, and we'll remind you before one ends.
• Price changes. If a plan's price changes, we'll tell you before the new price applies to your renewal. Apple or Google may also ask you to agree to it.

3. AI credits

AI credits pay for SpeakAnyWay's AI features, such as AI-generated pictures, menu boards made from a photo, and word suggestions. Each feature shows its credit cost before it runs. Costs can change, but you'll always see the current cost before you use a feature. Building and editing boards by hand never uses credits.

• Monthly plan credits come with your plan and refresh at the start of each billing period. Unused monthly credits don't roll over.
• Credit packs are one-time purchases. Their credits are added to your balance, are used only after your monthly credits run out, and never expire while your account is open. They stay with you if you cancel or change your plan.
• If an AI action fails on our end, we return the credits it used.
• Credits have no cash value. They can't be exchanged for money, sold, or moved to another account.
• Deleting your account removes any credits left on it.

4. Refunds

• App Store and Google Play purchases: refunds are requested from Apple or Google and follow their policies. We can't issue them ourselves.
• Web purchases: email us at hello@speakanyway.com. We look at every request and give refunds where the law requires it.
• When a credit pack is refunded or a payment is disputed, the credits from that pack that haven't been used yet are removed from your balance.

5. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll post the new version here and change the Effective Date at the top. Changes apply to purchases made after they're posted.
